Parish Assembly and Volunteer Awards - Photos

The Parish Assembly was held on Monday, April 30. Around 60 villagers enjoyed wine and nibbles before the business of the meeting. The Vice-Chairman, James Woodhead, briefly described some of the matters dealt with during the preceding year. The Westfield Down project is slowly moving forward, and will be an excellent facility for the village when it eventually happens. Other planning issues were outlined.

HUB re-opens from Friday 27 April

Following the sad closure of 'The Old Courthouse', the committee are delighted that 'The Plough' will be able to accommodate the HUB sessions, by kind invitation of Landlord Martin Hope, from   Friday 27 April at 10am.  The Quiz Night will now be at 'The Plough' on Sunday 13 May, 7pm for 7.30pm start, with refreshments generously provided by Martin. This is for teams of up to six people, and costs £4 per person including food.

From January 2012 we are able to offer an additional session on a Thursday afternoon from 12 to 3pm. The Parent & Toddler Group has now moved to a Friday afternoon but due to other users of the Parish Hall we are not able to hold the Parent & Toddler group on the 3rd Friday of the month.
