The HUB

 

FOLLOWING THE CLOSURE OF 'THE OLD COURTHOUSE' IN APRIL, THE HUB NOW MEETS AT 'THE PLOUGH'.  

Westfield Community Hub is a facility for local people where friends can meet weekly on a Friday between 10 am and 12 noon   for a coffee and chat, browse through the books at the Book Exchange, have access to the IT suite with internet facilities, printer and photocopier, and also a variety of information leaflets on display.  The Hub is a warm and friendly place to spend an hour or two, and all are made welcome.

The Hub has been developed by volunteers.  There is a constituted committee which meets monthly, maintaining and supporting Hub volunteers, raising funds for Hub activities, organising events and computer training and promoting Hub activities to the community.
